Meet Dr. Adamson
Dr. Adamson is a board certified dermatologist and health services researcher. He is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine (Division of Dermatology) at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin where he studies skin cancer, evidence based medicine, and health policy. He is also director of the Melanoma and Pigmented Lesion clinic at Dell Seton Medical Center.
Dr. Adamson’s work has appeared in academic outlets such as The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, JAMA Oncology, JAMA Internal Medicine, and JAMA Dermatology and in popular media including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Austin American-Statesman, NPR, and The Atlantic.
He has also appeared on the PBS News Hour and KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas.
